According to the IRCC website, Ontario currently estimates their processing times between 60-90 days for most streams. At the federal level, IRCC currently processes provincial non-Express Entry nominee applications within 15-19 months. For the Express Entry streams, the general average of 6 months applies.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) supports employers by facilitating the immigration of managerial, professional, and skilled foreign workers and international students required to meet their human resources needs. The province of Ontario operates the OINP in partnership with the federal immigration department, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Ontario ranks EOI profiles based on your answers. Points are awarded based on the skill level of your job offer and Canadian work experience. The province uses the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system to assign points.
The OINP scoring system is different depending on which stream you apply for. Other than skill level and work experience, it also considers the wage, education, official language ability, and the region in which you study or work. The province also allocates 10 points at its discretion to respond to labor market needs.
